| Three Steps for Successful Training & Implementation |
|
| |
 Customization
and modification services provide the need to meet the client
specific requirements that are not catered by the standard package
are not included unless stated otherwise.
Services include modification to the Setting, Function, Input & Output
Screen, Report and Tools.
In addition to the structured, yet
flexible phases are the underlying philosophies that the methodology
aims to reinforce and support. These philosophies are:
|
| |
|
Co-operative
Approach
|
 At
the commencement of the implementation the expected
roles, responsibilities and scope of activities and services
of both EnterpriseBuilder and the client are defined,
documented and agreed. One of the key objectives of
the Methodology is "no surprises". |
|
| |
|
Client Project
Manager
|
 Whilst the EnterpriseBuilder
Implementation Consultant will bring Project Management
skills and experience to the implementation effort, it
is critical to the ongoing success of the project that
the client nominates a person suitably knowledgeable
of the business and its requirements to fill the role of
Project Manager and to accept operational "ownership" of
the project. |
|
| |
|
Top Management
Involvement
|
In order for
the project to be given the appropriate level of focus
and priority within the
client's organization, it is essential that the client's
senior management be involved, firstly in the Project Initiation
phase to endorse the aims and objectives of the project, and
on an ongoing basis to ensure the requisite levels of resource
and commitment.
To ensure that this level of focus is achieved, it is a vital
requirement that a Senior Executive member of the client's
management team, preferably the CEO, assume the responsibility
of "Patron" of the project.
|
|
| |
|
Early Identification
of Additional Requirements
|
The methodology
aims to facilitate the identification of previous undefined
essential facilities and functions at an early stage
in the Implementation Cycle thus aiding their availability
by the Go-Live date.
|
|
| |
|
Implementation
Results
|
By applying
the principles and structure of the Methodology, both
the client and Implementation personnel can be certain
that the planning, control and management of the project
is optimized. This ensures that activities are completed,
together with the requisite outputs, in the correct timeframe,
and that the efficiency and future success of the business
is maximized by the contribution of the implemented system.
